BLOOD RAINBOW FAMILY

Blood Rainbow Family (BRF) is a close-knit collaborative group of artists who work primarily in video, installation, and performance. Our focus is the exploration of the connection between the corporeal body and the astral non-body. Currently we are (exploring this connection) using the concepts of utopia, communal experience, and the intersection of hippie and punk rock in modern culture. All members of Blood Rainbow Family have distinctly different approaches to these concepts; BRF output is the agreed-upon combination of these approaches. BRF uses architectural-like structures and handmade artifacts to set the stage for the creation of a present, on-the-spot culture. Installation becomes environment when occupied during performance. Blood Rainbow Family lives and works in Portland, OR. The Blood Rainbow Family’s members are: Brenden Clenaghen, Margaret Currin, and Patrick Rock.
